Course Summary

Thank you for your interest in this St. John Ambulance, First Aid training. The following First Aid course is facilitated by Clearview Safety Services, a certified independent St. John Ambulance Instructor.

Course format: IN-CLASS

Designed to comply with the CSA Z1210-17 Standards.

Level Descriptions

CPR-A: is for individuals requiring comprehensive information on First Aid and CPR for their workplace, school, or personal interest. Helpful in medical emergency cases in which the person needing medical assistance is most likely to be an adult.

CPR-C: is for individuals requiring comprehensive information on First Aid and CPR for their workplace, school, or personal interest. Helpful in medical emergency cases person(s) needing medical assistance are most likely to be adults, children, or infants.

*CPR-C is not WorkSafe compliant. For the WorkSafeBC- approved Basic First Aid Course, please choose the CPR-A option.

Bleeding and burn management
Bone and joint injuries

Assessment

All Participants take a written exam at the end of the course.

Certificate

A certificate will be issued upon successful completion of this course and will be valid for 3 years.
